Turbo Fire Workouts – What to Expect
The Turbo Fire fitness program is considered a high intensity interval training program. Its effectiveness lies in its use of moderate exercise that has momentary bursts of intense high level activity then a return to moderate exercise and repeat. Usually high intensity interval training is shorter in duration than a typical workout. Though, this type of training is similar to standard workouts in that it utilizes a cool down period after completion.
TurboFire uses the idea of high intensity interval training with the movements of dance and kickboxing. Periods of intense rapid kickboxing movements and jumping make up the high intensity part where as the dance portion is considered a moderate level exercise that keeps the body’s heart beat up in the range that it should be in during top fat and calorie burning periods.
While the maneuvers and dance sequences will require some learning, Chalene Johnson includes a segment that goes over these movements. This segment is ideal for those beginners who are just starting out on the Turbo Fire home fitness program. Watching this overview is essential to picking up the movements faster and getting into your fat burning zone more efficiently from the get go.
Included with the Turbo Fire DVD set is a Turbo sculpting band that is to be used with the Sculpt 30 Class/Tone 30 Class DVD. The sculpting band is used in this program to assist in developing muscle that is lean rather than bulky. In addition to this, an easy to follow guide that outlines which DVDs to do on certain days in also included to make your exercise regime a breeze to keep up with.
